If I could only add my own couple of Linux news sites it would be a 5. Otherwise its a fantastic app for news a tech. However!
As one other review said it is incredibly repetitive. There are dozens and dozens of tech sites and when a story hits the web and everyone grabs it thus it is read 12 times in a day. Frankly, find a news app with a GOOD tech section and keep that.
Amazing app to narrow your news preferences in one easy access place.
I have one comment, i would love to have a mark or highlight to differentiate between new and read news.
The app functions well. 2 suggestions when clicking an article the app goes to a white page with a few words fro the article to view the entire article you need to tap the article title (header) again....too many steps

add removal was not worth the purchase price.
Great app. Has almost every site that I would otherwise visit, but all in one convenient place. Saves me time typing and searching for articles. I have heard no sound from this app so Im assuming that the complaint from that user is likely an issue with that users phone. Ad removal is an excellent idea but seeing as the app just opens your browser and directs you to the site/article which you selected, the website themselves have ads on them, so really you are only paying to remove the ads that are in the apps UI but the ads on the website are still there. That being said, I can see why some people thought this was a useless feature but donating to the developer doesnt feel as useless so theres always that idea. Good app though, serves its purpose without any bells or whistles to trip over.
I like you technewstube so heres a good review. Still not payin to remove the adds. I might later.. Maybe.
I am a tech-journalist who translates news into another language. Some times it is very hard to combine news from different sources. I use this app to combine them easily and see what is popular and what is not. :)
Some bad moments
Ok app but soo repetitive its not worth reading. Pick a few good report teams or companies and only show their stories cuz reading 15 stories about the same thing is just dumb.
This app plays a very annoying sound even if my iphone is on vibration only. Worst of all, i have find no way to mute it!
No full stories just headlines with mayb a sentence or two then a link to b able to go to the actual source & read the whole story, which more times than not ends up just being a few more paragraphs. The upgrade to remove ads is very misleading, its only for the app not for when you go to the source for the full story, youll get your ad after loading it!
Shame on me for not learning my lesson from other apps that have done this. The safari option is a joke as it just completely leaves the app. One other reason I did the $4 upgrade, because in the app description it says how youll be able to choose safari over the default!
Feeling like Ive been Tech News Tubbed!
This was the best tech news app ever but now its not since the More Options button is being taking away and it wont share to Evernote in the more options button. Please add and keep the More Options button. Also this app wont update to the latest news on the iPads it stays on days behind news wont update any time.
Keeps me updated always with the latest technology news around the world.
Has a ton of articles and sources. Always updated news and app requests are promptly taken care of. Clean and simple. Thanks.
